What's your attachment style?
So much of how you love, fight, pull away, and chase comes down to one thing nobody taught you: your attachment style. This is the test you've been asking me for. 32 honest questions, the same two dimensions the research is actually built on, and a real read on which of the four styles is running your relationships right now.
Takes about 4 minutes. No right answers — just be honest with yourself. That's where it always starts.
This is for reflection and growth, not a diagnosis. Your style isn't a life sentence — time and work change people. I'm proof.
Before You Start
The four ways
we learned to love.
There are four attachment styles — the patterns we built young for how we handle closeness, distance, and fear in relationships. None of them make you broken. They just explain a lot.
Secure
Comfortable with both closeness and space. You trust, you communicate, and you don’t lose yourself in love. This is the one we’re all growing toward.
Anxious
You love deeply and fear losing it. Closeness feels safe; distance feels like alarm bells. You over-give and over-think, because love can feel fragile.
Avoidant
You value your independence and keep your guard up. Too much closeness can feel like pressure, so you pull back to feel safe. Letting people in is the work.
Fearful-Avoidant
You crave connection and fear it at the same time — come close, then pull away. The push-pull is exhausting. And yes, it can heal.
Whatever your result — it isn’t a life sentence. It’s a starting point. Time and work change people. I’m proof.
